Arts Council Funded was originally concieved as a one off noise project so me and my pal could blag our way into an all day noise festival in 2025.

We recorded this incredible display of avant-garde performance art with a portable cassette recorder and the next week release our self titled tape with additional bonus recordings from our "equipment" being thrown into the tip.
Initially I only made 10 copies and expected to be sitting on them for quite some time but to my surprise they sold out within days of release.
I followed up with another batch ...which also sold out
I left it there, not wanting to push my luck, but at time of writing I'm making some more copies of this since this is apparently what our audience wants to spend their hard earned money on 🤷
Our second performance was not booked but instead gifted to our dear friend Linus who originally booked us for their festival.
After many years of hard work Linus had decided to hang up his promoter hat and go out with one last killer show.
We decided it would be fitting to show up before the first act and give everyone another Arts Council Set.
Bonus points if you can spot the moment I accidently hit Roman on the head.
Our most recent performance was at South West Heavy Fest in Bridgwater earlier this year.
Originally I was booked in for a KNIFEYxSPOONY show here, but what with that project coming to a close we offered them an option of either Arts Council or my other project with Roman, Lovers Remorse. In their infinite wisdom, they picked the joke project. Fine by us!
We decided to try something new and decided to record and dub the tapes of this performance live at the venue for a near instant merch turnaround!
That about brings us up to speed. Our next performance is scheduled for August where we'll be on support duties once again for Ryosuke Kiyasu
